The Wing Foil Competition add-on covers GWA Wing Foil World Tour, GWA Surf Freestyle (aerial figures), GWA Race Foil (speed race), Wing Foil World Cup, national championships, brand commercial demos (Cabrinha, Duotone, F-One, North).

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Wing foil combines 40 km/h stable hydrofoil flight (hard-water fall equivalent crash) and sharp carbon foil (can sever muscle/tendon in brutal fall). Wave + strong-wind sessions cumulate risks. Young discipline with documented severe accidents.

Why is Wing Foil insurance essential?

Wing foil exploded since 2020 as a new gliding discipline. The rider holds a two-handed inflatable wing (3-7 m² per wind) on a hydrofoil board (carbon foil 60-80 cm under the hull enabling stable flight). Flight starts from 8-12 knots, at 40 km/h. GWA organises the Wing Foil World Tour, in Surf Freestyle, Race Foil and Big Air. Unique risks: sharp foil cuts and 40 km/h flight falls.
