Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. World eFoil spots (Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Ibiza, Miami, Hawaii, Bali, Maldives), Audi eFoil races (Sardinia), Fliteboard and Lift international competitions: we organise medical repatriation from any country.

eFoil option

The eFoil add-on covers leisure practice and eFoil race competition (sprint, slalom, freestyle). It includes lake/sea sessions, approved schools (Lift Academy, Fliteschool), commercial demos and brand promotional events.

Up to €200,000 per person. eFoil cumulates unique risks: a hydrofoil wing sharp as a blade (carbon) 60 cm under the board (deep-cut risk in a fall), a 3 kWh lithium battery (fire risk, electrocution if sealing fails), 40+ km/h water speed and a 1 m vertical foil mast (impact risk in a brutal fall).

Why is eFoil insurance essential?

The eFoil (electric hydrofoil) appeared in the late 2010s with Lift Foils then Fliteboard. It is an electric surf board fitted with a carbon hydrofoil wing 60 cm below the hull, propelled by an electric motor and a lithium battery. From 15 km/h, the wing lifts board and rider 50 cm above the water, up to 40-45 km/h. Risks are unique: a foil sharpened like a blade, the lithium battery, high speed and mast impact in a fall.

Yes. Audi eFoil races (Sardinia), the Fliteboard Championship and international eFoil sprint/slalom/freestyle competitions are covered with the eFoil add-on. Brand commercial demos are also covered.

Yes. Beginner sessions in approved schools (Lift Academy, Fliteschool, labelled independent schools) are covered with the eFoil add-on. Instructor supervision reduces the risk, but any accidents are covered.

The rate depends on your practice and the desired cover duration. For a beach holiday (1-2 weeks eFoil rental), the weekly plan suits; for an owner practising regularly (spring-autumn in the Mediterranean), the annual plan with the eFoil add-on is best. Request your personalised quote.
