Why insure your speed-ball practice?

Speed-ball trains a boxer's precision at frantic pace: thousands of strikes on an elastic ball inflame wrists and shoulders, and an uncontrolled rebound can hit the face. Tendonitis and bruises are common, and standard contracts poorly cover this boxing training discipline.

A policy built for speed-ball keeps you sharp: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in the gym as in competition. You work the rhythm, we absorb the shocks.

If you are injured during speed-ball training or a competition, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
