Why is kudo insurance essential?

Kudo (daido juku) is a full-contact hybrid martial art that blends karate strikes, judo throws and ground grappling, fought with a protective headgear. This complete engagement exposes the head, joints and whole body, and a knockout blow, a throw taken or a submission held too long causes concussions, fractures, dislocations and neck trauma. Even in training, the intensity of hard sparring takes its toll. A federation licence and standard contracts cover these accidents poorly, and the costs of care and rehabilitation add up.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical costs, care, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, at the dojo and in KIF competition. You can progress with a free mind.

1. Contact assistance first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance line on your card: its prior agreement is required before any hospitalisation, procedure, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow its instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its agreement before incurring costs; it directs you to the most suitable facility and organises your care.
