Why is swimming insurance essential?

Swimming exposes you to repetition injuries (swimmer's shoulder, chronic tendinitis, hamstring tear) and acute risks in open water : exhaustion, hypothermia (5 °C water in ice swimming, 16 °C in the Channel), currents, jellyfish, boat contact. Long races (Channel Crossing 32 km, English Channel Two-Way 70 km) generate extreme fatigue. The federation licence covers part but caps stay insufficient for repeated surgery.

Yes, with the Competition add-on. IISA ice swimming (5 °C water or less) in mile, 1 km, 100 m is covered. Severe hypothermia and thermal shock risks are taken into account. Explore our plans.

Yes. Artistic swimming solo, duet, team (highlight, technical, free) is covered. Frequent risks : partner contact, prolonged apnea, muscle injuries on lifts.

Yes. Masters competitions (25+ to 90+ categories) are covered in pool and open water. Masters World Championships (Budapest, Doha, Tokyo) and national federation Masters championships are included.
