How far does cover go on a wave this heavy?

icon Frais médicaux

Reef impact injuries treated up to €150,000

Atlantic swell reaches this coast unfiltered and the bottom gives nothing back. Perforated eardrums, knees twisted on a late duck dive, deep reef cuts: medical costs are covered up to €150,000, local treatment and surgery included.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Off a wild coast, into specialist care, then home

The north of the island sits some distance from a major hospital, and much of the field has flown in from another continent. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, from medical transport to the trip back to where you live.

icon Option compétition

Every judged heat counts as official competition

A Qualifying Series stop is scored by a panel of judges, which makes it official competition, and plenty of policies stop right there without saying so. The Competition option insures competitive surfing, at this contest and through the rest of your season.

icon Capital invalidité

If the spine takes it, capital up to €200,000

Going over the falls on a thick wave drives the body down at speed, and the neck is the first thing at risk. When an accident leaves permanent consequences, a permanent disability capital of up to €200,000 takes over.

AxeoSport icon

Long swell, sweeping current, humid heat

This coast takes the swell head on, and the current running along the beach means paddling non-stop just to hold your peak. In humid heat a competitor dehydrates fast, loses sharpness, then commits to a take-off a beat too late. That is where injuries at this spot come from, not from lack of ability.

Outside the contest the surfing continues: training sessions on empty reefs, strike missions, other stops on the tour. In those moments no safety ski is watching the peak and no judge is counting your waves. Year-round surf insurance covers your sessions across the whole season, at home and abroad.

FAQ

Competitor questions at the Martinique Surf Pro

Assistance organises the evacuation from the beach, then transport to appropriate medical care and, if needed, the journey back home. Medical costs are covered up to €150,000, surgery included.

No. This contract is personal accident insurance, not cancellation insurance. A hold for flat conditions or unsafe surf gives you no right to a refund of your entry or your flights.

Yes. The guarantee applies whatever your country of residence, and it works in the French Caribbean just as it does at the other stops you will surf this season.

The price depends on how long you insure, the level of guarantees and whether you add the Competition option. The online quote returns the exact amount in a few clicks, with no commitment.
