Disability benefit
Up to €200,000 per person. A 300+ km/h frontal impact, vehicle rotation with cervical impact despite HANS, post-crash fire can cause extremely serious permanent consequences. Our disability benefit handles paraplegia or permanent neurological injuries.
Why is Formula 1 insurance essential?
Formula 1 exposes you to extreme conditions : speeds over 350 km/h on straights (Monza, Baku), G-forces up to 6G in corners and 5G in braking, frontal impacts over 50G in crashes (Romain Grosjean case Bahrain 2020), post-crash fire risk, open-cockpit single-seater despite the halo. The FIA Super Licence includes basic cover but caps stay insufficient for cervical surgery or long post-concussion rehab.
Our Formula 1 insurance is the choice of F1 World Championship drivers, team test drivers, F1 Historic Grand Prix participants, junior academies preparing F1 access. For F2 (direct feeder), see Formula 2. For endurance, see 24 Hours of Le Mans.
No. The FIA Super Licence is mandatory to drive in F1 and includes basic cover, but caps stay insufficient for heavy cervical surgery or multi-month post-concussion rehab. Our cover complements it with €150,000 medical and €200,000 disability.
No. The halo and HANS (Head And Neck Support) drastically reduce cervical and skull injuries, but G-forces of 50+ in frontal impact stay traumatic. The Romain Grosjean Bahrain 2020 crash shows that even with these devices, severe burns remain possible. Our cover handles these extreme claims.
Yes, with the Competition add-on. Private tests on homologated circuits (Paul Ricard, Jerez, Bahrain International Circuit, Yas Marina) by F1 teams and their test drivers are covered. Specify dates and locations at subscription.
Yes. F1 Historic Grand Prix events (HSR Monaco Historique, Goodwood Festival of Speed, F1 demos on Champs-Élysées) are covered with the Competition add-on. Historic F1 cars have more limited passive safety, risk increases. Explore our plans.
The price depends on your options, your country of departure and the number of days covered. For a one-off private test or F1 Historic demo, the daily plan suits. For a F1 World Championship season driver (24 GPs), the annual plan with Competition option is best. Get your quote online.
