WTCC injury healthcare expenses

Up to €150,000. Cervical trauma at 260 km/h in WTCR Macao accident, fracture in sprint race collision, concussion in barrier impact, thoracic contusion in lateral TCR hit : we cover injuries specific to international touring.

Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. Macao Guia Circuit, Nürburgring Nordschleife, Spa-Francorchamps, Adria, Vila Real, Sebring, Imola, Marrakech : we organise medical repatriation from any WTCC/TCR International circuit.

WTCC/TCR Competition option

The Competition add-on covers TCR World Tour (ex-WTCR World Touring Car Cup and ex-WTCC), ETCR (Pure ETCR, electric), TCR Europe, TCR Asia, TCR South America, national TCR championships (France, Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, USA, Australia).

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Macao Guia street circuit is notoriously dangerous : blind corners, close barriers, Lisboa corner with historic accidents. International touring stacks Nürburgring Nordschleife runs and 3-heat sprint races per weekend.

Why is WTCC insurance essential?

WTCC (now TCR World Tour) remains one of the most demanding touring championships : 350 hp TCR cars (Cupra, Honda Civic Type R, Hyundai i30 N, Lynk & Co 03, Alfa Romeo Giulietta), 3-heat sprint races per weekend (up to 4 starts with quali/races), historic street circuits (Macao Guia, Vila Real), Nürburgring Nordschleife runs. Compact sprint format increases turn-1 collisions. ETCR (electric) adds lithium-ion fire risk in crashes. FIA licence includes cover but cervical surgery stays above caps.

Yes. ETCR / Pure ETCR (TCR cars converted electric 670 hp) is covered with Competition add-on. Lithium-ion fire risk in crashes is handled with specific burns cover.
