DTM injury healthcare expenses

Up to €150,000. Cervical trauma at 280 km/h on Schumacher S exit, fracture in GT3 turn-1 collision, pit lane fire burn, thoracic contusion in barrier hit : we cover injuries specific to GT3 racing.

Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. Hockenheim, Nürburgring, Lausitzring, Norisring, Spielberg, Imola, Zandvoort : we organise medical repatriation from any European DTM circuit.

DTM Competition option

The Competition add-on covers DTM (ADAC, 8 weekends/year), DTM Trophy (support category), ADAC GT Masters, GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, Nürburgring 24h, private testing at DMSB-homologated circuits.

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. GT3 reach 280-300 km/h on long straights. Pack accidents (up to 30 GT3 on track), barrier impacts, pit lane fires can cause serious consequences.

Why is DTM insurance essential?

DTM evolved in 2021 from silhouette prototype to GT3 format, more accessible but still highly competitive. Races run in dense pack (~30 cars), on technical circuits (Nürburgring GP, Hockenheim, Lausitzring, Norisring street), with frequent safety-car restarts increasing collisions. Speeds 280-300 km/h on straights and 4-5G in corners require reinforced cover the DMSB licence only partially provides.

DTM (ADAC, German championship) runs 8 weekends/year on 7 mostly Germanic circuits. GT World Challenge Europe (Sprint + Endurance) covers 5 European circuits with 1-3h races. Same GT3 cars, different formats. Our cover handles both with Competition option.

Yes, with the Competition add-on. The Nürburgring 24 Hours (GT3 + GT4 + Nordschleife class endurance, ~150 cars, 200 km/h on Nordschleife) are covered. Specific risks (25 km Nordschleife, changing weather, extreme relay fatigue) handled. Explore our plans.

Yes in DTM Classic, demonstrations and private testing. Old DTM silhouettes (Class 1, until 2020) covered as historic with Competition add-on. More limited passive safety increases risk, taken into account.

Yes. Private sessions on DMSB-homologated circuits (Hockenheim, Nürburgring GP, Lausitzring) conducted by DTM teams (Schubert Motorsport, Manthey, ABT, HRT) are covered with Competition add-on.
