Broken collarbone on the downhill track, care up to €150,000

On a downhill course, one casing on a jump or a front wheel washing out on a wet root is enough to snap a collarbone or a wrist. Medical costs up to €150,000 pay for emergency care, scans, surgery and hospital stays, wherever in the world you live.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Stretchered out from deep inside an enduro stage

A crash halfway down an enduro stage can leave you far from any road, on steep forest ground that only a stretcher team or a helicopter can reach. Assistance and repatriation at actual cost handle the evacuation from the crash site, then your trip back home, however far away that is.

icon Option compétition

Racing all three formats under the Competition option

A World Series round is official competition, which is exactly when many policies stop paying out. The Competition option covers you on every timed run at Les Gets, whether enduro, XC or downhill, and on every other official race on your calendar this season, from national cups to international rounds.

icon Capital invalidité

When a spinal or knee injury changes everything, up to €200,000

A high-speed downhill crash can leave lasting damage to the spine, neck or knee that reshapes a career and a life. Permanent disability capital up to €200,000 is paid out when the after-effects are permanent, helping fund a new home setup, retraining or simply time to adjust.

What makes riders go down in the Haute-Savoie mountains?

Conditions shift overnight. An August thunderstorm turns dusty tracks into mud, roots get greasy and the lines you sessioned the day before stop working. Stack a week of racing on top of that, enduro first, then XC and downhill, plus the clock and the crowd at the finish. Mistakes tend to arrive late, when legs and focus are fading.

The rest of the year you ride bike parks, local enduro trails and regional XC races, and the risk does not stay behind at the resort gate. Individual accident mountain bike insurance follows you on every ride, training or racing, at home or abroad, whatever your country of residence.

FAQ

Riders' questions before Les Gets

Yes. Cover applies to training as much as racing: track walks, timed and untimed practice runs and free riding around the resort during the week are protected just like your race runs.

Yes. AxeoSport insures riders whatever their country of residence. Medical costs, assistance and repatriation to your home apply in France and abroad, for the whole length of the policy.

No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation insurance, so it does not refund entry fees, flights or accommodation. It steps in when an accident leaves you injured, in practice or in a race.

The Competition option alone is enough. It covers official racing across every discipline at the Haute-Savoie round, and at every other official event of your season, whatever format you are entered in.

Price depends on your age, how you ride and whether you add the Competition option. The online quote gives you an exact figure in a few minutes, with no commitment, well before you head to the Alps.
