Transport and repatriation

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Racing trucks (5 tonnes for 1200 hp, limited to 160 km/h for safety) have kinetic energy 4 times higher than race car. Impacts (wheel-to-wheel contacts, barrier off-tracks) particularly violent : paraplegia, serious polytrauma risks.

Why is Truck Racing insurance essential?

The FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) pits modified road tractors against each other on European circuits. These 5-tonne trucks develop up to 1200 hp and are limited to 160 km/h for safety. Their kinetic energy is four times that of a race car : wheel-to-wheel contacts and off-tracks are particularly violent, with a high centre of gravity. Accident insurance protects the driver.
