Why is trekking insurance essential?

Trekking is long-distance hiking over several days, often at altitude and in remote terrain, with a loaded backpack. The distance, the altitude and the isolation multiply the risks, and a fall, the cold or thin air causes sprains, fractures, hypothermia, altitude sickness and dehydration. Even on training outings, the terrain and the load take their toll. A licence or a standard contract covers these accidents poorly, and the costs of care, rescue and rehabilitation add up.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical costs, care, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, on day walks as on major treks. You can progress with a free mind.
