Why insure your slackline practice?

Slacklining places heavy strain on the ankles and knees to keep balance on an unstable webbing. Acrobatic tricks such as jumps or bounces expose practitioners to sudden falls and sprains. Longlines practised over long distances also cause muscle fatigue and lower back pain. Standard club membership and general contracts cover these accidents poorly, and medical costs add up fast...

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical costs, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your plan, in the park as in competition. You can then chain your tricks with a free mind.

Please note: this cover applies to slacklining at a maximum height of 1.60 m, in line with our general terms. Above that height, see our highline page.

In case of injury while slacklining, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
