Why is Moped Cross insurance essential?

Moped cross, a popular French discipline born in the 1970s, democratises motocross with modified 50cc mopeds (Peugeot 103, MBK 51, Motobécane) fitted with cross casing, racing suspension and free exhaust. The French UFOLEP Championship is the reference federation, with 50 Standard, 50 Modified, 80cc and Junior categories. Races oppose 15-20 mopeds on short dirt tracks with moderate jumps (1-2 m). Risks stay real: corner falls, start contacts and poorly-landed jumps.
