Why is muay thai insurance essential?

Muay thai is the art of 8 limbs: fists, elbows, knees and shins, with a unique clinch game. Every session works the whole body, from pad work to sparring, and camps in Thailand add distance: care on site or a repatriation can quickly add up to significant amounts, poorly covered by standard contracts.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical expenses, repatriation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in England as in Asia, in training, sparring and bouts with the competition option. You can then train and progress with a free mind, from the camp to the ring.

Yes, bouts in Thai stadiums are covered with the competition option, Lumpinee and Rajadamnern included. Training and sparring at camp are covered in every plan. Discover our plans.

Our insurance covers the nak muay, not the gear. The baggage option can reimburse theft or loss of your equipment when travelling, gloves and shin guards included. Liability falls under your licence or home insurance.

If you are injured during a camp session, sparring or a bout, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation, in Thailand as anywhere else.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.

Choose the plan that matches the length of your stay. Your cover follows you to camp for training, sparring and clinch work, repatriation included. Add the competition option if you fight on site.

The price depends on the plan you choose and the length of cover. Get your online quote in a few clicks.
