From valley heat to cold mountain passes, cover that keeps up

Fracture on rocky ground, €150,000 of treatment

Dolomite descents string together loose scree and rock steps, usually after hours of climbing. A crash there tends to mean a shoulder, a collarbone or a rib. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, including hospital care and surgery in Italy before you travel home.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Winched off a high pasture and taken home

Much of the route runs on alpine tracks where a road ambulance would take an hour or more to arrive. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, from the helicopter winch to your own address, whatever country you came from.

icon Option compétition

Chipped, ranked and racing by any definition

The Superbike uses timing chips, cut off points and category results, which is exactly the setting a basic policy may exclude. The Competition option covers this marathon and the rest of your race calendar, from small local rounds to major events.

icon Capital invalidité

Back injury that never fully heals, up to €200,000

After hours of climbing, reflexes fade and the final descent punishes any lapse. A back or pelvis injury can leave permanent consequences for work and daily life. If permanent disability follows, a capital sum of up to €200,000 is paid to help you adjust.

Two passes, one long descent, a body that has had enough

The profile is brutally simple: climb for a long time, descend fast. Late morning storms can turn limestone into glass, and plenty of riders reach the last descent with forearms completely pumped from braking. Altitude and dry air also affect hydration, and dehydrated riders make poor line choices.

One Italian marathon is a single date on your season. The rest of the year you ride at home, on training camps or at other European events, with the same crash risk. Annual mountain bike insurance travels with you, in training and in competition, with no paperwork before each trip.

FAQ

Questions from riders travelling in

Yes. Cover applies abroad as well as at home, whatever your country of residence. Treatment on site and your journey back are handled under the same terms.

Assistance coordinates with local rescue, helicopter included where no vehicle can reach you, then arranges the transfer to a suitable hospital and your repatriation, all at actual cost.

Yes. Both distances are treated identically, because the policy covers the rider rather than the route. The recce ride you do the day before is included as well.

No. This is individual accident insurance rather than cancellation cover. It pays nothing towards entry fees, hotels or travel, and everything towards the consequences of a bodily accident.

The figure depends on the length of cover, your level of riding and whether you add the Competition option. The online quote returns an exact price in a few clicks, with no obligation.
