Late snow, cold rain and cover that takes it in June

Dislocated shoulder on a wet ski piste, €150,000

In June the race climbs and drops on ski slopes where short wet grass gives almost no grip. A wheel slides away across the fall line and the shoulder takes the impact. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, including hospital treatment in Austria.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Rescue far from any lift, then the trip home

Stages reach alpine pastures served only by service tracks, with snow still lying in north facing hollows early in the season. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, from where you fall to your own front door.

icon Option compétition

Four days of general classification means racing

The Alpentour adds your four stage times into an overall result, with number plates and age categories. That is a competitive setting many policies leave out. The Competition option brings it in, along with the rest of your season and your training.

icon Capital invalidité

Slipping across the fall line, up to €200,000

On steep, slippery ground a crash can reach the spine or the pelvis and leave lasting limitations. Where permanent disability is recognised, a capital sum of up to €200,000 is paid so you can adapt your home, your car and your working life.

Start the season with fresh legs and cover already in place

June comes quickly after winter. Many riders line up with few hours on the bike, on cold, greasy ground where braking distances are longer than they look. The ski slope descents mix grass, loose stone and water crossings, and that is exactly where the fast crashes happen on the first two stages.

Four days in Styria are not your whole year. After this you go back to local trails, training camps and other stage races, with the same exposure to a fall. Annual mountain bike insurance keeps that cover live, with nothing to sort out before each number plate.

FAQ

Before the first June stage, five answers

Yes. It runs on every timed stage and on the easy spins or recce rides you do between race days, from the first start line to the final presentation.

Organisers may shorten the route, but your cover stays active either way. An accident on a snow patch or a soaked ski slope is treated under the same medical guarantee.

No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation cover. It pays nothing towards entry, accommodation or travel, and everything towards the bodily consequences of an accident.

No. Your licence and your country of residence change nothing here. This cover sits on top of what you already hold and applies in Austria as well as on your home trails.

The price depends on how long you need cover, your level of riding and whether the Competition option is included. The online quote shows the exact amount in a few clicks, with no commitment.
