Why is electric motorcycle insurance essential?
Sport electric motorcycles offer instant torque exceeding equivalent combustion bikes : brutal corner exit accelerations, high straight-line speeds (Energica Ego Corsa reaches 270 km/h), relative silence that may surprise other riders. Medical costs after a high-speed crash can far exceed standard caps.
Our electric motorcycle insurance is the choice of MotoE Energica Ego Corsa riders, KTM Freeride E competitors, Zero FX off-road riders, circuit testers. For combustion track riding, see our Track Motorcycle page.
Yes. Our cover is worldwide. MotoE races in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria or elsewhere are covered during the event and practice sessions.
Yes, with the Competition add-on. MotoE FIM Enel championship, Energica Ego Corsa races, KTM Freeride E off-road rounds and national opens are covered. Compare cover levels on our plans.
Our cover protects the rider, not the bike. The model (Energica, Zero, KTM Freeride E, sport scooter) does not affect the rider contract. For vehicle insurance, contact a vehicle insurer.
No, pricing and rider cover are identical. Propulsion (electric vs combustion) does not change rider risk or medical costs after a crash. You can freely switch between electric and combustion bikes under the same policy.
The price depends on your options, your departure country and the number of days covered. For an Energica track day, the daily plan suits; for MotoE riders racing a full season, the annual plan with Competition option is best. Get your free quote online in 2 clicks.
