Why insure your aerial silks practice?

Aerial silks hold the body metres above the floor with nothing but fabric and technique: a badly wrapped drop, grip lost to fatigue or a friction burn and the figure ends on the mat. Standard contracts cover these accidents poorly, and care costs add up quickly over a season of training.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in studio training as on stage. You can then climb every silk with a free mind.

If you are injured during an aerial silks session or show, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
