Why insure your pole dance practice?

Pole dance holds the whole body on skin grip alone: inversions metres above the floor, spins that burn the thighs and holds where sweat can end a figure without warning. Standard contracts cover these accidents poorly, and care costs add up quickly over a season of training.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in studio classes as at championships. You can then chain every figure with a free mind.

Yes, cover applies when you travel abroad for a show, a workshop or an international competition. On-site medical costs are handled and medical repatriation is arranged whenever your condition calls for it.

Yes. A shoulder injury caused by a pole accident is covered, including imaging, any surgery and rehabilitation. Because inverts and holds load the shoulders so much, we advise a disability capital that reflects this exposure.

No. The cover is open to competitors and to leisure practitioners alike. In a pole studio or a private space, your personal accident insurance for pole dance follows you across every class and performance.

If you are injured during a pole dance class or competition, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
