Caught out by a June storm on the Asitz?

icon Frais médicaux

Big jumps, short landings, broken wrists

Leogang's downhill runs very fast, with long sequences of big jumps and root sections in the trees. Come up short on a landing and it is the wrist, the collarbone or the neck that takes the hit. Medical costs up to €150,000 cover treatment, a hospital stay and surgery.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Bike park evacuation, then the trip home

The on-site medical crew gets you off the hill, but things get harder if home is hundreds of kilometres away. Assistance and repatriation at actual cost arrange transfer to a suitable hospital and then your journey home once you are stable enough to travel.

icon Option compétition

XCO, DH or enduro, every start line counts

The programme mixes cross-country races, timed downhill runs and enduro stages, sometimes for the same all-round rider. The Competition option covers you in every official race of the round, then for the rest of your season, in Austria and at every other stop.

icon Capital invalidité

€200,000 in capital when injuries are for life

A spinal injury after a jump crash or a knee wrecked in the roots can leave lifelong consequences. The permanent disability capital pays up to €200,000 according to the assessed degree of disability, helping fund the changes your daily life will need.

How a June thunderstorm changes the Leogang hill

In June, thunderstorms often break over the Salzburg Alps in the afternoon. A track that was dry in the morning turns greasy for finals, and wet roots in the woods slide out from under tyres. Downhill speeds leave little margin, while cross-country riders suffer on steep climbs before rough, punishing descents.

Whether you race downhill, enduro or cross-country, the risks do not stop when the World Series packs up. Bike park days, winter training, camps and regional races keep coming. Choosing downhill MTB insurance that covers you in training and racing, in France and abroad, keeps the same protection in place all year.

No. AxeoSport is not cancellation insurance. Entry, hotel and travel are not reimbursed. The policy steps in only after a bodily injury, for medical care, repatriation and a possible disability capital.
