Why insure your tree climbing practice?

Tree climbing takes you dozens of metres above the ground: a poorly secured rope, a slippery bark or a dead branch can turn an outing into a fall. Sprains, fractures and crush injuries do happen, and standard contracts treat this discipline as mere leisure, poorly covered.

Cover built for tree climbing changes everything: medical expenses, evacuation, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, from discovery sessions to canopy bivouacs. Climb high, stay protected.

If you are injured during a tree climbing outing or camp, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.
