Reef, climbs and tropical heat across three disciplines

icon Frais médicaux

Coral cuts and crash injuries, €150,000 of treatment

The swim sits above a reef and the bike leg drops back towards the coast at speed. A deep laceration or a collarbone broken on a bend means admission on the island itself. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, surgery and imaging included.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Flying home from the Indian Ocean after a crash

Leaving the island early is no small thing. It takes a long-haul flight, sometimes a stretcher position and a medical escort. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, from the roadside where it happened to your own front door.

icon Option compétition

Every distance here, and every race next season

S through to L, all of it raced officially with rankings and licences. The Competition option covers competitive practice, this weekend and the rest of your calendar, pool sets and long rides on the way there included.

icon Capital invalidité

Réunion Tri Tour, €200,000 if an injury never fully heals

Bike crashes on hot tarmac and head injuries sometimes leave consequences that do not heal. The permanent disability capital can reach €200,000, which pays for adapting a home, a car or a job to a new reality.

Heat, salt and gradient wear a triathlete down

Tropical conditions rewrite the plan. You drink less than you need, your heart rate climbs and the run leg turns into a fight with heat and salt loss. The sea moves, the reef is unforgiving, and the roads out of Saint-Leu rise sharply within the first few kilometres.

The rest of the year is pool sets, long rides and turbo sessions, mostly done alone. A good share of accidents happen there, especially on open roads with traffic. Our triathlon insurance covers training and racing alike, on the island and anywhere your season takes you.

FAQ

Before you dive in at Saint-Leu

Yes. All three disciplines sit under the same guarantee, ocean swimming included. A cut on coral, trouble in the water or a fall leaving transition is treated in exactly the same way.

Yes. Assistance organises your journey from the island back to your home address at actual cost, with a medical escort if your condition calls for it. Distance does not reduce the guarantee.

Cover does not start with the starting horn. Preparation sessions, whether in the sea, on the west coast roads or on foot, come under the same medical expenses and disability guarantees.

No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation cover. Neither the entry nor the flight is refunded, because the guarantee deals with the bodily consequences of an accident.

Price varies with the formula, how long you need cover and whether the Competition option is added. The online quote shows your figure in a few minutes, with no obligation at all.
