Up to €200,000 per person. Saudi dunes (up to 200 m height), hidden stones in sand, Africa Eco Race fords, 50°C temperatures make rally-raid one of world's most demanding disciplines. Major paraplegia, serious polytrauma risks.

Rally-raid combines endurance and off-road navigation over long distance in extreme environment. Dakar, relocated to Saudi Arabia since 2020, covers 8,000 km in 12-15 stages in Empty Quarter desert. W2RC FIA World Rally-Raid Championship visits 5 destinations (Abu Dhabi, Sonora Mexico, BAJA Aragon Spain, Morocco Sahara, Andalusia). Categories T1+ (Audi RS Q e-tron, Toyota Hilux), T2 (production), T3 (Yamaha YXZ, Polaris RZR Pro), T4 SSV coexist. Risks massive : hidden stones under sand, knife-edge dunes, muddy fords, extreme temperatures (50°C day, 0°C night), roadbook navigation (error = retirement).
