Why is nordic walking insurance essential?

Sport nordic walking is more demanding than it looks : sustained 6-8 km/h with elevation, pole push stressing shoulders and elbows, fall risk on rough trail (roots, stones), repetition tendinopathies, weather exposure (heat, cold). Ultra nordic walking (40-80 km) stacks extreme fatigue and metabolic risks. The federation licence covers part but tendon surgery and mountain rescue can exceed caps.
