Whether you fly in a club or as a hobby on beaches across England, our personal accident insurance for kite flying adapts to your practice and supports you from your first flight to competition. It usefully complements your federal licence for full protection, in England and abroad. We also cover these disciplines, with the same simple sign up: boomerang and aeromodelling.
In case of injury while kite flying, follow these steps.
1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.
2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.
3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
