Cold rain and dark paths, cover built for the full 100 km

Misstep by headtorch light, care up to €150,000

After hours on your feet, concentration slips and a boot catches a root, a kerb or a pothole you never saw. Sprain, fracture, a deep graze from the fall: your medical expenses are covered up to €150,000, from A&E in the host city to surgery if it is needed.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Far from home in Germany, getting you back

Plenty of walkers travel from another region, or another country, for a single event. If an accident leaves you unable to carry on, assistance and repatriation at actual cost arrange evacuation from the route, a hospital stay nearby if necessary, and then your journey home.

icon Option compétition

Marathons or ultras on the calendar? Add the Competition option

For many walkers, Mammutmarsch is one goal among several in a busy season. If you also take part in official competitions, whether road running, trail or race walking, the Competition option covers each event and the whole season, in France and abroad.

icon Capital invalidité

Crossing a road at dawn, a lump sum up to €200,000

Routes mix paths and built-up areas, with roads to cross just when early-morning fatigue slows your reactions. If an accident leaves permanent disability, the disability lump sum can reach €200,000, to help you face the changes it brings to your everyday life.

Between midnight and sunrise, where walkers come unstuck

Over 100 km, mistakes catch up with you late: starting too fast, shoes never tested over the distance, food stops skipped. Night brings dropping alertness, damp cold and poorly lit paths. By early morning, stiff legs and lack of sleep turn the smallest kerb into a hazard, and that is when most stumbles happen.

Long-distance walking takes months of build-up, with ever longer outings, often alone and in any weather. That is also when accidents happen. Our walking insurance covers you all year, at home and abroad, on training walks as well as on event day, whatever your country of residence.

Yes. Cover does not depend on the time of day. A fall in the middle of the night on a dark path is treated like an accident in broad daylight, with the same medical and assistance guarantees.

Yes. Cover applies whatever your country of residence. If an accident stops you getting home under your own steam after the event, repatriation brings you all the way back to your door.

It depends on how long you need cover and which options you add. The online quote shows the exact price in a few minutes. Do it when you register so your months of training are covered too.
