Lower back, shoulders, ankles: €150,000 of medical cover

A loaded sled and sandbag lunges punish the lumbar spine the moment form slips at station six. A shoulder giving way on wall balls means an ambulance and a hospital night. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, including imaging, surgery and follow-up.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Flying home injured without paying for the transfer

Many athletes cross a border for a single morning of racing. A fracture on the final station turns a cheap return flight into an impossible one. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, from the arena floor all the way to your front door.

icon Option compétition

Open, Pro, doubles or relay: your bib truly insured

HYROX is official competition, and plenty of policies quietly stop there. The Competition option covers your race and your whole season, including the box sessions and the other starts you line up for between now and next winter.

icon Capital invalidité

When a dropped weight leaves lasting damage: €200,000

A kettlebell on the foot, a disc injury after the sled pull, a knee that never fully returns. Some damage does not heal. A permanent disability payout of up to €200,000 helps absorb lost income and the changes you then have to make at home.

Why do so many first timers walk the last kilometre?

Eight kilometres sounds modest until every loop starts with empty arms. Newcomers burn the first two runs, then stall on the wall balls and start muscling the movement instead of pacing it. That is where backs lock up, where ankles roll on burpee broad jumps, and where tired athletes collide on a crowded indoor loop.

A Manchester bib is the end of six months in the gym. Heavy carries, repeated overhead work and timed circuits hurt people in training at least as often as they do on race day. Our CrossFit insurance runs all year, in the gym and at events, at home and abroad, whatever country you live in.

FAQ

What entrants ask before their first wave

No. Your entry buys a bib and on-site medical staff, not the cost of treatment, hospital care or a flight home. Individual accident insurance from AxeoSport fills that gap.

Yes. SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls sit under the same contract as the eight kilometres of running. Nothing is carved out.

Yes. The cover applies abroad whatever country you live in, for the race itself and the training days around it. Treatment paid for on the spot is reimbursed within the stated limit.

No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation insurance, so it never refunds a bib or a flight. What it does pay for is your treatment, your repatriation and any lasting injury.

The price depends on the formula you pick, how long you need it and whether you add the Competition option. The AxeoSport online quote gives you a figure in a couple of minutes, with no commitment.
