A crash on the valley road, €150,000 of care behind you

The 90 km bike leg strings together fast descents towards Kaprun, sometimes on a surface still wet from an afternoon storm. A broken collarbone means an ambulance, imaging and surgery. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, hospital stay included.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Evacuation off a quiet mountain road, at actual cost

Parts of the course run through thinly populated valley stretches where the nearest hospital is a long drive away. If you cannot continue, assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, including the journey home, whichever country you live in.

icon Option compétition

Race for a ranking slot with the Competition option

A 70.3 is officially timed, with age-group rankings and qualifying places at stake. Many policies stop at recreational use. The Competition option covers official competition, on this race and across the rest of your season.

icon Capital invalidité

Up to €200,000 when an alpine crash leaves damage

A heavy fall in a descent, or a knee twisted on the lakeside run, can leave lasting loss of movement. The permanent disability capital reaches €200,000, which helps with time off work and the changes that follow a serious injury.

When mountain weather turns, the help line stays open

Lake Zell is still cool at the end of August and the first few hundred metres of the swim can shorten your breath just as the heart rate peaks. On the bike, valley wind and altitude drain legs faster than a flat course at sea level. Most incidents happen late, when tired riders misjudge a bend they have already taken once that day.

Half-distance racing is built over months of long rides, open-water sessions and interval work, often alone and far from a main road. A year-round triathlon insurance policy covers training as well as racing, at home and abroad, so a broken bone in February is treated on the same terms as one in late August.

What entrants ask us before this half distance

No. This is personal accident insurance, not cancellation insurance. It pays for the bodily consequences of an accident, never for your race entry, your flights or your accommodation in the valley.
