Up to €150,000. Concussion from contact, clavicle fracture in hit, ACL sprain/rupture in pivot and direction change, foot/ankle fracture in fall, rib contusion in blocker wall : we cover derby-specific injuries.

Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. WFTDA International Championships, European Roller Derby Cup, bouts in Berlin / London / Toronto, Roller Derby World Cup : we organise medical repatriation from any country.

Roller Derby Competition option

The Competition add-on covers WFTDA International Championships, Roller Derby World Cup, European Roller Derby Cup, MRDA (Men's Roller Derby), JRDA (Juniors), federation national tournaments.

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Roller derby is one of the most traumatic team sports : repeated concussions (CTE), frequent ACL ruptures in jammers, cervical fractures in illegal hits. Our cover handles permanent consequences.

Why is roller derby insurance essential?

Roller derby is an intense contact sport : 5 players per team, shoulder-to-shoulder contact allowed, up to 30 km/h on the oval track, jamming sprints through the pack. Concussions are frequent (estimated 1 per bout), ACL ruptures in jammers (sprinters) are among the most disabling injuries. The WFTDA licence includes third-party but not enough personal cover.
