Up to €200,000 per person. A bad entry at 60 km/h from a 10 m platform can cause vertebral fractures, head trauma, severe eardrum perforation. 27 m high diving generates 90 km/h on entry.

Why is springboard diving insurance essential?

Diving exposes you to impacts of underestimated violence : 60 km/h entry from the 10 m platform, 90 km/h from 27 m high diving, 720° rotations, twists. A flat entry causes wrist or forearm fractures, a misplaced cervical landing can be paralysing. The federation licence covers part but caps are insufficient for heavy orthopaedic surgery.
