Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. A class V/VI rapid fall, a pin under pressure against a siphon, a paddle hit to the head can cause permanent vertebral and neurological consequences.

Why is canoe-kayak insurance essential?

Canoe-kayak exposes you to major water risks : whitewater capsize (class III to VI), siphons, drossages, cold-water hypothermia, coastal currents in sea kayak, expedition isolation. The federation licence covers third-party but not your serious injuries beyond caps. Search-and-rescue costs can exceed €10,000 for a remote gorge intervention.
