As the hall heats up, your treatment is already paid for

icon Frais médicaux

A knee, a wrist and €150,000 behind them

Late wall balls drive knees into angles they dislike, and burpee broad jumps land hard on wrists. On a day this long, most injuries happen in the final waves, when form has gone. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, treatment, scans and surgery included.

icon Transport et rapatriement

No train home with a splinted ankle

Most competitors arrive by rail, some from hours away. With an ankle immobilised, getting home alone stops being realistic. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, arranging transport that suits your condition from the venue to your own door.

icon Option compétition

Doubles, relay, Pro: official racing genuinely insured

Doubles and relay athletes race for an official ranking, and that is exactly the word many policies use to say no. The Competition option covers this race and your full season, from box sessions to the next bibs already on your calendar.

icon Capital invalidité

A disc injury that never fully heals: up to €200,000

The sled pull and the rower load a lower back that has nothing left to give. A herniated disc or a repaired shoulder can leave lasting limitation. The permanent disability payout reaches €200,000, which matters when you cannot go back to the same job.

Gym athletes find out something else on race day

In a gym you rest between sets. Here the running starts again immediately and your heart rate never comes down. Many go too hard on the sled, then wobble through sandbag lunges with a back already stiffening. Add a warm hall, quiet dehydration and hundreds of athletes sharing one loop, and that is where accidents cluster.

A Birmingham bib is one date inside a whole training year. Heavy carries, jumps and overhead work injure people every week, often more than any race does. Our CrossFit insurance stays with you all year, in the box and at events, at home and anywhere you travel to compete.

FAQ

Things entrants ask in the start pen

Each athlete takes out their own cover, so everyone is insured individually whatever the category. A team of four means four contracts, and one injury takes nothing away from the others.

Yes. Preparation counts as much as the race itself, in the box, in the gym or outdoors. Sled sessions, running and heavy strength work sit inside the same contract as your start on the day.

No. Sled push, sled pull, farmers carry and sandbag lunges are part of the race and part of the contract, exactly like the eight kilometres. No station is treated as a separate activity.

No. This is individual accident insurance rather than cancellation insurance, so neither the bib nor the train ticket is refunded. Your treatment, your repatriation and any permanent injury are what it covers.

It depends on the formula, the length of cover and whether you add the Competition option. The AxeoSport online quote returns your price in a few minutes, with no commitment.
