Why insure your deaf bowling practice?

Deaf bowling is practised with the French Disability Sports Federation (FFH), on the IPC circuit and up to the Paralympic Games. Wrist and shoulder tendonitis and back pain from repeated throws are frequent, in leagues as in tournaments. Standard contracts poorly cover the specific needs of para sport, and care costs add up quickly after an accident.

That is where cover designed for deaf bowling makes the difference: care, medical transport, rehabilitation and a disability benefit are handled according to your plan, from the first training session to the final. You stay focused on performance, not on bills.

If you are injured during deaf bowling training or a competition, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.
