Why insure your sport stacking practice?

Sport stacking looks harmless, but thousands of high-speed repetitions strain wrists and fingers: tendonitis, sprains and eye strain are common among competitors of the World Sport Stacking Association. Standard contracts treat this discipline as a simple game, and physiotherapy costs add up quickly.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in training as at WSSA events. You can then chase your personal best with a free mind.

If you are injured during sport stacking training or a WSSA event, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
