European speedway uses 500cc 4-stroke cinder bikes, 280-380m ovals, 4 riders per race, brakeless. American Dirt Track uses more powerful bikes (Twins, 450cc+ Singles), longer ovals (TT, half-mile, mile), with rear brake allowed in some categories. Separate dedicated pages.
