Why is Snowkite insurance essential?

Snowkite is ridden on skis or a board with the sole force of the wind: high speed, long distances and jumps on open plateaus far from the pistes. Standard licences and contracts cover these accidents poorly, and treatment and rehabilitation costs pile up fast after a mishandled gust.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical costs, evacuation, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your plan, in freestyle as in race or long distance. You can then chase the wind with a free mind.

If you are injured during a session, an outing or a competition, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical spending, call the assistance line shown on your card: its prior agreement is required before any hospitalisation, procedure, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow its instructions. Unless there is a life-threatening emergency, wait for its go-ahead before incurring costs; it directs you to the most suitable facility and arranges your care.

3. Keep every supporting document. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions and invoices are essential to process your claim.

The price depends on the plan you choose and the length of cover. Get your quote online in just a few clicks.
