If you are injured on the slopes, during an outing or a ski holiday, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.

Our insurance covers the skier, not the equipment. The baggage option can reimburse theft or loss of your gear during the trip. For rented skis, check the rental contract.
