Dry-season heat over the reef lagoon, and four guarantees

icon Frais médicaux

Coral cuts, heat collapse and up to €150,000 of care

The lagoon is shallow and the swim brushes coral. A cut in warm water turns septic within hours, and the closing run under a high sun empties even trained legs. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000 after an accident.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Lifted off the beach, then flown home

Guadeloupe concentrates its hospital capacity around Pointe-à-Pitre, well away from the race site. If home means a long-haul flight, nobody improvises that with a fracture. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, from the beach to your own door.

icon Option compétition

Licence, chip time and every start that follows

Short-course triathlon is raced under a licence and the clock matters as much as the distance. The Competition option covers official racing, here in April and across the rest of your season, whether you pin a number in France, in the Caribbean or anywhere else.

icon Capital invalidité

A crosswind crash and €200,000 of permanent cover

The bike leg leaves sheltered ground and meets the trade winds side on, with riders close together and blown sand on the tarmac. A crash that leaves lasting damage changes how you earn a living. The permanent disability capital reaches €200,000.

Why a short-course race in tropical heat deserves cover

Plenty of entrants fly in a few days before the gun and never acclimatise. It shows on the second bike lap and across the run: heart rate climbing, cramp, dizziness, sometimes a proper collapse. Add sea urchins in the shallows, narrow coastal roads and traffic that is never fully stopped.

April is one weekend in a long year. You swim all year, ride on Sundays and run through the September rain, and every session carries its own risk. Annual triathlon insurance follows you in training and in racing, in France and abroad, whatever country you live in.

FAQ

What entrants ask before the lagoon swim

Yes. The guarantee applies to the swim exactly as it does to the bike and the run, on the marked course on race day and during your own sessions in the lagoon beforehand.

No. Cover holds whatever country you live in, and it includes on-site assistance followed by repatriation to your home address when a corporal accident makes the journey back impossible alone.

No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation insurance. Neither the race entry nor the flight is reimbursed. What it covers is the bodily consequences of an accident in training or in competition.

It guarantees official racing across your whole season rather than this single morning. Other triathlons, duathlons, aquathlons and club races you enter during the year fall inside the same cover.

Price depends on the formula and the length of cover you choose. The AxeoSport online quote shows your figure in a couple of minutes, with no commitment, before you subscribe for the race or the year.
