Snow outside, gym floor inside: four guarantees for the whole winter

Sled push gone wrong? Care up to €150,000

HYROX pairs eight 1 km runs with eight stations: SkiErg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls. Roll an ankle or wrench a shoulder on the pull and medical expenses up to €150,000 take over: emergency care, scans, surgery and hospital stays.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Living outside Austria? Your trip home is arranged

If you travel in from abroad to race an event, an injury can leave you stranded far from home in midwinter. Assistance and repatriation at actual cost handle your transport from the gym to your front door, whatever your country of residence and whatever the season.

icon Option compétition

September to February, every qualifying event covered

Over a five-month programme, competing is not a one-off day but a run of deadlines. The Competition option covers your participation in every Red Bull Road to HYROX event and in the official competitions of your wider season. The training in between stays covered as well.

icon Capital invalidité

Achilles torn on the lunges, capital up to €200,000

Weighted lunges and running on tired legs put heavy strain on tendons and knees. A ruptured Achilles or a ligament injury can leave a permanent limitation. The permanent disability capital, up to €200,000, is paid according to the assessed level to help you live with the after-effects.

Five months of effort: where do injuries creep in?

On a programme this long, the danger lies less in a single race day than in accumulation. Amateurs stack sessions, skimp on recovery and head back out to run on legs that are already heavy. The Austrian winter stiffens muscles between home and gym, and one sloppy transition between stations is enough for a sprain.

HYROX training runs all year: intervals, strength work and station practice in the gym or the box. A personal accident policy covers those training weeks as fully as competition days, in Austria and anywhere else. Our CrossFit insurance page explains the guarantees for functional fitness athletes in more detail.
