Quadrix injury healthcare expenses

Up to €150,000. Cervical trauma in drift exit (high-side), wrist fracture in grip loss, polytrauma in concrete-barrier contact, thoracic bruises from handlebar impact, asphalt-slide grazes: we cover quadrix-specific injuries.

Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. French FFM Quadrix Championship (Salbris, Anneville, Mornay, Croix-en-Ternois), French Cup, European rounds: we organise medical repatriation.

Quadrix Competition option

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Quadrix demands controlled drifts (voluntary grip loss) in 120-140 km/h corners. Poorly-mastered drift exit (high-side when tyre regrips) violently ejects rider against karting-circuit concrete barriers. Paraplegia, head trauma risks.

Why is Quadrix insurance essential?

Quadrix, a French discipline born in the 2000s, opposes sport quads (prepared Yamaha YFZ 450, Honda TRX 450R) on karting asphalt circuits. The technique relies on controlled drift: sliding the rear of the quad in 120-140 km/h corners. The French FFM Quadrix Championship visits Salbris, Anneville, Mornay and Croix-en-Ternois. Risks are specific: drift-exit high-side when the tyre regrips, long asphalt slides and contacts with the karting circuit's concrete barriers.

Yes. High-side (brutal rotation when tyre regrips at drift exit) in quadrix violently ejects rider, often against karting-circuit concrete barriers. Our cover handles consequences (vertebral trauma, paraplegia). See our plans.

Yes. Quadrix is like quad circuit speed with specific asphalt slick tyres (different from dirt quad cross tyres). Our cover requires FFM regulation compliance (Quadrix-homologated tyres).

Yes. Quads prepared per FFM Quadrix regulations (racing suspension, Brembo calipers, exhaust, modified geometry) allowed. No preparation restriction for our rider cover.

Quad cross is raced on a dirt circuit with jumps (motocross). Quadrix is raced on a karting asphalt circuit without jumps, with controlled drift technique. Completely distinct disciplines requiring different FFM licences.

It depends on how much you race. For a championship weekend round, the weekend plan suits. For a full FFM season (6-8 rounds), the annual plan with Quadrix Competition add-on is best. Get your online quote.
