Why insure your polo practice?

Polo is played at full gallop, with sudden changes of direction and frequent contact between horses and players. A mishandled mallet swing or a high-speed fall can cause fractures and serious trauma. Standard licences and classic contracts cover these accidents poorly, and medical costs climb quickly after a serious injury.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical costs, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered depending on your guarantees, during training as in competition. You can play every chukka with a free mind.

In case of injury while playing polo, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
