Why insure your para blowgun practice?

Para blowgun is practised with the French Disability Sports Federation (FFH), on the IPC circuit and up to the Paralympic Games. Respiratory fatigue and neck tension from repeated shooting positions are the main risks, in training as in competition. Standard contracts poorly cover the specific needs of para sport, and care costs add up quickly after an accident.

Against these risks, an insurance built for para blowgun truly protects you: medical costs, evacuation, rehabilitation follow-up and a disability benefit are covered. All that is left is to give your best.

Respiratory fatigue or neck tension requiring care: medical expenses are covered up to €150,000 depending on your plan.

Absolutely. Whether you train in an FFH club, compete on the IPC circuit or aim for the Paralympic Games, your para blowgun sessions are covered, at home and abroad.

It is. From casual weekend practice to official championships, the level of protection stays the same, and minors can be covered through a parent.

If you are injured during para blowgun training or a competition, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
