March on the Dutch coast means wet, cold road surfaces. A foot that slides on a painted line, an elbow put down inside a pack of 30,000 runners, and the bill moves from scan to operating table. Medical costs are covered up to €150,000.
Many bibs travel in from Germany, Belgium or further. If a fracture holds you in The Hague while your flight leaves the next morning, assistance and repatriation are covered at real cost, from the spot where the accident happened to your own front door.
The CPC Loop is timed and ranked, which makes it official competition. Plenty of policies stop at that word. The Competition option keeps your March bib covered, and every other start line you take on through the season, from a club 10 km to another road half.
A head knock in a crowded finishing straight, a knee that never quite returns, a nerve that stays numb. When an accident leaves permanent disability, a capital sum of up to €200,000 is paid out, whatever the rest of your season was meant to look like.
Flat roads flatter everyone. The wind off the sea pushes you along one way and sits in your face on the way back, so the first half feels free and the second one does not. Glycogen runs out, foot strike gets sloppy, and the falls cluster in the last kilometres among barriers and tightly packed runners.
A half marathon is built in January, not in race week. Long Sunday runs in the rain, threshold sessions in the dark and the easy kilometres in between all carry risk of their own. Our half marathon insurance covers training and racing alike, at home and abroad, wherever you happen to live.
The NN CPC Loop Den Haag is one of the first big road dates of the Dutch spring. A 5 km for families, a 10 km for club runners and a half marathon fast enough for world class fields share the same cold, breezy morning.
You run three distances in a single morning. We insure all your participants with one subscription, from the shortest wave to the half. Medical assistance is reachable day and night while the event is on, repatriation is included, anywhere in the world. We can also be a partner of your race.
Yes. All three NN CPC Loop Den Haag distances sit inside the same contract, timed or not. You are covered on the start line and on the training runs that got you there.
Yes. The contract works wherever you live and wherever you run. A German, Belgian or Italian runner on the Dutch start line holds exactly the same guarantees as a French policyholder.
No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation cover. Neither the bib nor the trip to the Netherlands is refunded. What is covered is bodily injury suffered while you are running.
Because flat roads and a tailwind invite pacing nobody has trained for. The damage shows up later, with cramping legs, a sloppy stride and thirty thousand people funnelled into narrow final kilometres where a clipped heel ends on the asphalt.
It depends on how long you want to be insured, which sport you declare and whether you add the Competition option. The online quote shows your premium in a couple of minutes, with no commitment.
