Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. Motorcycle drift demos on homologated circuits (Magny-Cours, Castellet, Nürburgring, Suzuka), freestyle motorcycle drift events, Japan, USA (Drift Moto Festival), Europe : we organise medical repatriation.

Demo / Competition option

The Demo / Competition add-on covers commercial motorcycle drift demos, freestyle motorcycle drift, international events, homologated circuit demos and video shoots.

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Motorcycle drift relies on voluntary rear control loss : a drift-exit high-side (brutal rotation after grip recovery) can eject the rider at 100+ km/h and cause serious vertebral fractures.

Why is Motorcycle Drift insurance essential?

Motorcycle drift, a freestyle discipline born in Japan in the 2000s, consists in inducing and maintaining a controlled rear slide through turns. Popularised by Japanese riders, it now grows through demos and freestyle events across Europe. Risks are high : drift-exit high-side, burns from tyres smoking at 200°C and control-loss falls. Accident insurance protects the rider.

Yes. Commercial demos (Motor Shows, PRO Drift Moto events, brand marketing, video shoots) with motorcycle drift are covered with the Demo / Competition add-on. Specify dates and locations at subscription.

Yes. The rear tyre in drift reaches 200°C and beyond. Accidental contact burns (leg against the smoking tyre) during a fall are covered : skin grafts, care.

No. Motorcycle drift on open road is not covered (illegal, outside the sport scope). Our cover handles only demos on homologated circuits, organised events and closed venues.

The price depends on your options, your country of departure and the number of days covered. For a one-off demo or event, the daily plan suits. For a season freestyle rider (regular demos + training), the annual plan with the Demo / Competition add-on is best. Get your quote online.
