Alone in the car, who gets you off the hill after a crash?

icon Frais médicaux

Into the barrier at a hairpin, treatment up to €150,000

A hill climb gives you no second attempt at a corner, and one late braking point puts the car into the barrier or the bank. Broken legs, chest trauma, burns: medical expenses up to €150,000 cover treatment, hospital stays and surgery following the accident.

icon Transport et rapatriement

From the roadside in Le Vauclin to your own front door

A crash on the climb ends your day, but you still need to reach the right hospital from the countryside around Le Vauclin. Assistance and repatriation at actual cost organise evacuation from the crash site and your return home, whether that is in Martinique, Guadeloupe or mainland France.

icon Option compétition

Practice runs and race runs, all inside the Competition option

A hill climb is decided over several runs, practice first, then race runs with a classification at the end. That makes it official competition. The Competition option covers each of those runs and every other official competition in your season, whatever the discipline.

icon Capital invalidité

Spine, pelvis or hand: lasting damage after a flat-out exit

Leaving the road flat out can injure the spine, the pelvis or a hand, with effects that do not fade. The permanent disability benefit of up to €200,000 is paid according to the assessed rate and helps you adapt your home, your work or the way you get around.

Late braking, wet patches, heat: how runs go wrong here

A hill climb is short and flat out, sometimes on cold tyres for the first run of the day. Exits usually come from braking a fraction too late, running wide at a hairpin or hitting a damp patch after a passing shower. Martinique's heat, under helmet and overalls, wears you down between runs.

Your season goes well beyond Morne-Raquette: other hill climbs, slaloms, free practice sessions and track days all come with their own risks. Personal motorsport insurance protects you in each of those situations, whatever car you enter, and does not depend on the policy an organiser signs for one weekend.
