If you are injured in training or in a match, follow these steps.

1. Contact assistance first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance line on your card: its prior agreement is required before any hospitalisation, procedure, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow its instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its agreement before incurring costs; it directs you to the most suitable facility and organises your care.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions and invoices are essential to process your claim.

Lacrosse uses a netted stick to carry and throw a ball, while hurling uses a flat wooden stick to strike a small ball. Whatever your stick, we cover lacrosse as well as hurling and shinty.
