Racing abroad means settling one thing first

icon Frais médicaux

Treated in an Austrian hospital, €150,000 of cover

A wrist fracture on the burpee broad jumps means a foreign emergency department, a procedure and invoices in a language you do not read. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, hospital stay and surgery included, wherever you end up being treated.

icon Transport et rapatriement

A night train is no substitute for medical transport

Many athletes arrive by rail or on a short flight and leave the next day. On crutches and in a cast, improvising the journey home becomes a risk. Assistance arranges repatriation at actual cost, from the venue to your own door, in whatever transport your condition needs.

icon Option compétition

Pro or Open, official racing stays insured

In Pro or in Open you are ranked in an official race, and that is the single most common exclusion in general policies. The Competition option covers this race and your full season, box training included, at home and away.

icon Capital invalidité

A torn calf, a damaged nerve: up to €200,000

Repeated surges across eight kilometres tear calves already loaded by sandbag lunges, and a dropped kettlebell can damage a nerve in the foot. When the damage stays, the permanent disability payout reaches €200,000 to offset the income you lose.

Cold street, hot hall, a body caught between them

You queue outside, you walk into a heated hall, and your body does not always follow. Cold muscles go too fast on the first loop, calves tighten by the third, and dehydration builds without showing. By the final stations the wall balls happen with a tight back and knees caving inward, and that is where injuries land.

A Vienna start is one date inside a whole season of training. Olympic lifting, jumping and loaded circuits produce more injuries over a year than any race does. Our CrossFit insurance covers your sessions and your races all year, at home and abroad, whatever country you train in.

FAQ

Before the first kilometre, what entrants ask

Medical costs incurred on site fall inside the cover, up to €150,000. Assistance steps in from the moment you are admitted to organise what comes next, including the journey back home.

Yes. It applies in training as much as in racing, wherever you are and whatever country you live in. Box sessions, running and strength work are all part of the same contract.

No. All eight stations belong to the race and to the contract, jumping included. A wrist sprained on a burpee is handled exactly like an injury picked up on the running loop.

No. This is individual accident insurance, not cancellation insurance, so the bib, the train ticket and the hotel are not refunded. Treatment, repatriation and permanent injury are.

The price depends on the formula you choose, the length of cover and the Competition option. The AxeoSport online quote works out your figure in a few minutes, with no commitment.
