Transport and repatriation

At actual cost. FAI World Cup Hang Gliding, FFVL French Championship, world sites (Saint-Hilaire, Annecy, Mieussy, Bassano del Grappa Italy, Macedonia, Brazil Governador Valadares, Australia Forbes): we organise medical repatriation from any country.

Flight Competition option

The Flight Competition add-on covers FAI World Cup Hang Gliding, FAI World Championships, FFVL French Championship, FFVL Cup, cross-country (XC) flights with FAI declaration, distance records, classes 1 (flexible) and 5 (rigid).

Disability benefit

Up to €200,000 per person. Hang gliding imposes 50 km/h landing speed in semi-standing position. Brutal lift loss (sheared thermal wind), low-altitude stall or crash on uneven terrain can cause polytrauma, paraplegia and serious head trauma.

The FFVL organises the French championship and the FAI the World Cup and World Championships.
