Why insure your chariot racing practice?

Chariot racing revives an ancient discipline with very real risks: standing on a light chariot behind galloping horses, wheel-to-wheel contact in the bends and falls where the reins can drag the driver. Standard contracts cover this rare discipline poorly, and care costs climb quickly after a fall.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in training as at shows. You can then drive every race with a free mind.

If you are injured during a chariot race or show, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
